amazing night at church...

Hear my cry, O God;
Attend to my prayer.
From the end of the earth I will cry to You,
When my heart is overwhelmed;
Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
For You have been a shelter for me,
A strong tower from the enemy.
I will abide in Your tabernacle forever;
I will trust in the shelter of Your wings. Selah
Psalm 61:1-4

Great night at church! I love my church family, truly a great group of people who REALLY love Jesus and walk in His love. Tonight we spent time in worship, prayer and communion. It was a very special time.

While the church body praised Jesus to "How Great Is Our God" the Lord prompted me to grab my Bible. I love it when God calls us out in the wilderness and speaks life. I want you to picture this scene, as you looked around the sanctuary what you saw was hands lifted up, hearts surrenedered, a sweet smelling aroma unto the Lord. The voices sang in unity about the greatness of my God. While this is going on the leads me to this scripture:
Yet I am the LORD your God
Ever since the land of Egypt,
And you shall know no God but Me;
For there is no savior besides Me.
I knew you in the wilderness,
In the land of great drought.
Take words with you,
And return to the LORD.
Say to Him,
“ Take away all iniquity;
Receive us graciously,
For we will offer the sacrifices of our lips.
Assyria shall not save us,
We will not ride on horses,
Nor will we say anymore to the work of our hands,
‘You are our gods.’
For in You the fatherless finds mercy.”
“ I will heal their backsliding,
I will love them freely,
For My anger has turned away from him.
I will be like the dew to Israel;
He shall grow like the lily,
And lengthen his roots like Lebanon.
His branches shall spread;
His beauty shall be like an olive tree,
And his fragrance like Lebanon.
Those who dwell under his shadow shall return;
They shall be revived like grain,
And grow like a vine.
Their scent shall be like the wine of Lebanon.
~Hosea 13:4-5, 14:2-7

What a beautiful portion of scripture. How could you not worship God!? I cannot express enough how precious this night was at church. The Pastors one by one went before the church and prayed. Again, the Lord prompted my heart. He wanted me to write the points they prayed for, here they are:
For the believers, knowledge, spiritual understanding, fruitful lives, strengthen with all might, thanksgiving and praise for saving us and all that He [God] does for us, that we may be still and know Him as God, power of the Holy Spirit in our lives, wait until the promise of the Father, fogiveness for our iniquities, that we would be filled by the Holy Spirit afresh with His empowerment, yield to the will of God, love like Jesus, praises to God that our debt of sin was paid in full, the darker the night- brighter the light (thank You Jesus), that we may be free of guilt and free to forgive. I pray that we would draw closer to the Lord in prayer.

I thank God for placing me in an amazing church!
I pray that you may have found a home church as amazing and on fire for Jesus like my church.
Be blessed and be a blessing as you abide in the true vine, Jesus!
