30 Hour Famine
Hi Dear Friends.
Uth Nation, the youth group where I serve at is hosting a 30 hour fast for the starving children in Haiti. We have partnered with 30 Hour Famine through World Vision and together we are serving the poor, the hungry, the needy, the heart hungry people of Haiti. You can be a part of the kingdom work happening in Haiti through your financial support. This is a one time, online gift that will echo through all of eternity. May we never underestimate the power of giving. We may not be able to physically be God's hands and feet but through our financial support we can send help.
Friends, any dollar amount will help. Whether it be that you can only give a dollar, that one dollar will feed a kid for a day! $30 feeds a kid for a month and $360 feeds a kid for a year. My original goal was $150 which my the Lord's mighty work was met. I then raised it to $360, with the hopes of feeding a child for a year and guess what, the Lord went above and beyond. My new goal is $540 which will feed another child for half a year. Please prayerfully consider how you, your family and friends can help. Thanks.

30 Hour Famine
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
“The King will reply,
‘Truly I tell you,
whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

Uth Nation (youth group I serve at) is joining with 30 Hour Famine and raising money to feed those starving and without hope. Our youth group will be feeding the kids in Haiti.
"Students around the world loving God and fighting hunger. It’s that simple. Every year, thousands of students unite to do the 30 Hour Famine. They learn about hunger - and then they do something about it. They raise funds. They experience hunger for themselves. Best of all? They help save lives."The best part is that you can help!

> A detailed description will be found on this page, explaining how each gift amount will bless these kids.
For the remainder of February and March we will be raising funds. It doesn't just stop there. 30 Hour Famine organizes exactly what its name is, a 30 hour fast. Our youth group will be hosting a lock-in at church for the kids in youth who have collected a minimum of $30. That night will include: educating the kids on famine/poverty/hunger, devotion time, games and more. We will be starving for food. So please, prayerfully consider joining this great cause.
Thank you for you help and spread the word!
