It's horribl...Okay, I have periodontal disease. It's horrible! My gums are receding and by being vigorous in my oral hygiene I've slowed it down, I still hate it. I would cry over the damage being done afraid my teeth would fall out (the dentist assured me that wouldn't happen and my gums are "normal" for braces, etc). But it would literally keep me up at night with worry.
